The small ball matrix and three-dimensional floating ball matrix (also known as motor array, motor matrix, small ball array, vitality matrix, dynamic sculpture, and flying sky) are a set of display forms that combines machinery and art, independently developed and produced by our company in 2009. This system utilizes thousands of servo motors to drive decorative objects to move vertically up and down, achieving various three-dimensional graphic effects through computer program control. Coupled with lighting and sound media, it brings audio-visual and visual impact to the audience.
We are one of the few technical teams in China that possess this core technology. This exhibition item features a grand and imposing scene with a strong three-dimensional effect. It can display text, graphics, and changing animations, and can be applied to places such as shopping mall lobbies, hotels, and exhibition halls.
Technical Introduction
The dynamic demonstration exhibition of the small ball matrix integrates technologies from various disciplines such as motion control, servo technology, mechanical structure, computer programming, graphic pixels, visual arts, and musical expression. Each small ball moves in an orderly manner under the control of a computer, performing various dynamic shapes such as curves, surfaces, planes, text, and three-dimensional patterns. The overall effect is like a colorful three-dimensional painting, representing the perfect combination of technology and art, and is the latest achievement in modern media art demonstrations. working principle
A small ball is suspended by a wire on the rotor disc of an electric motor, and the forward and reverse rotation of the motor drives the ball to move up and down. If there are 1000 balls in the ball matrix, then there will be 1000 motors. The motion controller controls 1000 motor drivers, sending different speeds, accelerations, positions, and motion times, so that 1000 small balls can display spectacular dynamic shapes.
