The Shanghai World Expo was another international event held by China after the Beijing Olympics. It was also the first registered World Expo held in a developing country. The theme of this World Expo was "Cities Make Life Better". Since its opening on May 1st, exhibitors from 246 countries and international organizations have jointly explored the future development prospects of cities through exhibitions, forums, performances and other forms. They have jointly composed an inspiring melody of harmonious coexistence of human civilization, vividly interpreting the Expo concept of "Understanding, Communication, Gathering, Cooperation".
